At Booking.com I joined when the company had 300 people and left when it had 8,000. I scaled the supply API platform from 20,000 to 100,000 connected properties, built the hotel onboarding pipeline from scratch, and implemented length-of-stay pricing before it became industry standard.
I then founded Traveldeal.nl , €7M annual revenue, team of 20, full P&L. Built the product, the email marketing engine that drove most of the revenue, and the operations. Sold in 2019.
Since then: Senior Product Director at Tripadvisor (grew the team from 25 to 60, built the supply foundation for their subscription model), followed by interim engagements at KLM, Royal FloraHolland, LeasePlan, and PostNL.
Three things I do consistently well: I build the machine, not just the product. I make performance measurable so organisations can actually manage to it. And I scale through people — hiring, coaching, teams that deliver without hand-holding.
