I am a 32 years old full stack web developer, based in Enschede and looking for freelance missions.
For the past 6 years I've been working with companies and startups to build websites front-ends, online back-ends, micro services and mobile applications. I worked on both MVPs and larger projects already in production, with a focus on delivering progressive, scalable software that clients can easily re-use or improve later on.

- PROTONU"Metaverse Experience" installation for GS1 KölnDIGITAAL BUREAU & IT-CONSULTANCYseptember 2023 - november 2023 (2 maanden)Cologne, NW, GermanyWorking with PROTONU to deliver full-stack web software to support the Metaverse Experience, an interactive museum installation.My tasks was to build a back-end for an RFID registration/login system, which allows visitors to link a virtual avatar with their RFID wristband.I implemented several mini-games (quizz, matching games, ...), where visitors could login using their wristband and see their live score on a main display.Using Redis as a cache and RabbitMQ to process all signals from the different games allowed me to deliver a very reliably locally deployed software. I also built a simple custom CMS so that each game's content can be easily updated.

The idea was to make a very minimalist back-end which can load and save data to a .json file.The front-end would then load this data and display an interactive interface. Every action on this interface (creating a new element, linking two existing elements using .svg arrows, ...) triggers a WebSocket message. The back-end would then interpret front-end messages in order to instantly save the current state into the .json file.
