Department : Synchronisation in Neural Systems At this department of the Donders Institute, research is done concerning the synchronisation between neural systems. Synchronisation is seen as a communication between the two specific brain areas. This allows researchers to determine which brain areas are involved in certain tasks. The method I will be working with is Electroencephalography (EEG), which is a transcranial (not invasive), electrophysiological method to monitor the activity of the brain. Each year Ondernemende Nijmeegse Studenten (ONS, English: Entrepreneurial students of Nijmegen) organize a minimum of three big events. With these events ONS inspires students to consider entrepreneurship beside research and the job fair.
