Over Sumbo
Hi everyone! My name is Sumbo, and I’m a creative copywriter based in Hamburg, Germany. I have worked at a bunch of ad agencies like Ogilvy, Jung von Matt, Grey and more; worked on huge brands like Deutsche Bahn, Nivea, Douglas, etc.; and even had the opportunity to win some awards with my amazing teams! 🤩
Unfortunately, I was let go at the beginning of this year. But I saw it as a sign to follow the path that I have always dreamt about: becoming a freelancer!
I’m excited and scared at the same time because now, I have the chance to create amazing work I'm passionate about and use my knowledge to help growing businesses and brands.
My focus right now is to make all those boring B2B ads you see online (like on Meta and LinkedIn) into fun, but effective ads people would actually want to click on. One quote that drives my work is: “…all advertising is unwanted. So if you're going to crash the party, bring champagne!” (By Bob Thacker).
