As a Business Information Manager I'm accountable for delivering IM solutions to the Strategic Market Unit Specialty Coatings, a portfolio business within the Business Area Performance Coatings. I maintain business relationships, identify business needs and ensure that IM is able to meet these needs. Responsible for strategic IM planning, budgets and value realization aligned with the customer's IM strategy. Responsible for ultimate decision making, governance and overall steering of the SMU. Internal alignment and partnering with Centers of Expertise, Global Business Services (GBS) on delivery of services and projects, ensure performance at agreed levels and ensure coherence in strategic development of IM in line with agreed Enterprise Architecture. Main topics in the past 2 years where creation of buy-in for ERP roadmap, analysis of end-to-end processes at acquired, left alone sites, service improvement, implementation of previous operating model, extensive SharePoint solution rationalization and migration to O365 and overall IM cost control. Current plan is to:

- execute legacy ERP migration to SAP

- effectuate value management and measurement towards business stakeholders on IM realized initiatives

- safeguard business continuity and user satisfaction during IM reorganization which includes substantial outsourcing and a refined Operating Model

- promote experimental IT initiatives

- qualify and promote Agile project delivery and support in Digital growth initiatives by inspiration sessions, IT capability driven

- analyse available data and apply Lean Six Sigma for performance improvements within IM and business processes
