In this assignment, I am responsible for risk management within the national Bay Replacement Program (BRP), a large-scale replacement program for 150 high-voltage substations in the Netherlands. I facilitate and advise project teams in developing and implementing their risk policies and ensure a comprehensive risk file and risk budgets. The total risk portfolio amounts to 220 million euros. Key responsibilities:

• Organizing and facilitating risk sessions to develop risk files according to the RISMAN methodology.

• Conducting probabilistic analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations, to determine risk budgets and estimate delay effects in project scheduling.

• Preparing and maintaining risk management plans and associated documentation, such as budget releases and exception reports.

• Monitoring and optimizing data quality within the risk register in the risk management system ARM (Active Risk Manager).

• Integrating risk management into decision-making by actively linking risks to strategic choices and project direction.

• Developing mitigation strategies and ensuring their implementation and follow-up to effectively manage risks.

• Guiding and training project teams in risk management methodologies to strengthen risk awareness and ownership within the program.

• Relating risk analyses to financial impact and cash flow management to ensure financial reserves and budget allocations align optimally with identified risks.

• Facilitating cross-functional collaboration by working closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure that risk management is effectively embedded into all project phases and functions.

• Conducting regular risk reviews and updating risk assessments to reflect changes in project scope, external factors, or market conditions, ensuring the risk management strategy remains aligned with project goals.

4o In this assignment, I was responsible for the planning and execution of a portfolio of approximately 25 reconstruction projects within the energy infrastructure. I coordinated the work in close collaboration with partners. This approach enhances efficiency in collaboration and task distribution across the industry. Main Responsibilities:

• Applying project management principles with a strong focus on scope management, contract management, lead time monitoring, accurate budgeting, and effective risk management.

• Proactively coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gain support and successfully complete projects.

• Ensuring a structured project administration as a foundation for informed decision-making, progress monitoring, budget control, and transparent communication.

• Identifying and addressing bottlenecks in a timely manner during execution, considering both operational and strategic impact.

• Actively participating in a change management team (one day per week) focused on standardizing and optimizing work processes within the process optimalization. This contributes to more efficient workflows that benefit the organization, partners and end users.

Stolze specializes in electrical, irrigation, grow light, automation, and climate technology for (international) greenhouse projects. Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for project management of international projects, with a strong focus on the United States (average project order size of approximately €5 million per project).

• Close collaboration with engineers and technicians to ensure that the design meets both technical specifications and customer requirements.

• Developing and implementing project and execution plans, with a focus on design, scope management, lead times, quality assurance, budget control, and risk management.

• Assembling and leading project teams of approximately 10 technicians at construction sites, with a clear focus on efficient execution.

• Leading the installation and implementation of automated systems within the greenhouse sector, including site management and operational coordination on-site.

• Responsible for the testing and commissioning phase, including final inspections and successful project delivery according to specified quality and performance requirements.

• Coordinating logistics and procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and resources, minimizing delays and optimizing project workflow.

• Managing stakeholder communication and ensuring regular updates to clients and project partners to maintain transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
