I’m a data scientist with a background in econometrics and quantitative finance. I studied Econometrics & Operations Research at Tilburg University and completed my MSc in Quantitative Finance at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

I currently work at Rabobank as a data scientist in transaction monitoring, where I build and validate models, lead automation initiatives, and work closely with business stakeholders and the Dutch central bank DNB. Previously at Van Lanschot Kempen I built Python tools for climate risk modelling and quant analytics for trading desk and risk teams.

On the side I take on freelance projects involving Python automation, web scraping, data pipelines, and dashboards for businesses that want to save time or get more out of their data.

What sets me apart is that I scope problems properly before writing a single line of code. I ask the right questions upfront so the solution I build actually solves your problem, not just the one you described.

Typical projects: automating repetitive workflows with Python, scraping and structuring data from web sources, building dashboards and reports from raw data, and quantitative or financial modelling.
