Datacentre server, network and storage infrastructure project planning, overseeing the install of associated kit and the provisioning of space, power, cooling and network capacity. Maintaining datacentre best practices and standards. Asset management and audit using Nlyte software. Working closely with vendors and third party suppliers to ensure Nationwide's existing infrastructure is safeguarded and planned datacentre work is carried out to the highest standard. Currently working on a new, multi-site Big Data information management and storage deployment.

My role at Nokia involved the installation and configuration of HP and Dell servers and the Cisco, Juniper and F5 network equipment that provided the music, apps and maps to customer's devices. The decommission and uplift of existing business critical systems was constantly on-going and consisted of approximately four thousand servers and one thousand network devices. A highlight of my time at Nokia was the completion of a project involving the migration of nearly two thousand devices and associated infrastructure into a brand new environment.

Redditch. Reporting to the EMEA Data Centre Manager, the install, configuration and support of server and network hardware within the data centre is the main focus of this role; both for AT&T internal systems and colo customers. The support and monitoring of other AT&T data centres around the world also formed a critical part of this position.
