🧬 Hi! I’m Dr. Lisa Willemsen, an immunologist and bioinformatics consultant with a strong background in translational research and data-driven biomedical research.

🧪 I obtained my PhD from the University of Amsterdam (2022), where I investigated the transcriptional regulation of macrophages in inflammatory diseases. Afterward, I joined Prof. B. Peters’ laboratory at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology (CA, USA) as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on infectious disease biology using both experimental and computational approaches.

🌍 Now based in the Netherlands, I work independently with academic and industry partners at the interface of immunology, bioinformatics, and systems biology. My goal is to help researchers and organizations transform complex biological data into meaningful insights.
