Helping businesses make sense of their data.

After 3+ years in Big Four consulting (KPMG) and banking (KBC Group), I've had the chance to work on some genuinely complex data challenges — from building reporting systems for 16 departments simultaneously to working with 50TB+ datasets and automating reports that used to take hours every week.

What I've found along the way is that the technical part is rarely the hardest bit. Understanding what the business actually needs — and translating that into something people will genuinely use — takes just as much effort as writing the SQL.

My experience includes:

Advanced T-SQL — stored procedures, window functions, ETL pipelines, performance tuning

Power BI & Tableau — reporting built with end users in mind, not just technical requirements

Financial & business metrics — sales pipelines, BD activities, financial performance, customer behaviour

Working with messy, multi-source data — CRM systems, ERP, Excel, legacy databases

Python & AI tools — automating repetitive analytical work

I've worked a lot with stakeholders who weren't sure exactly what they needed — and I've genuinely enjoyed that part of the job. Turning a vague business question into a concrete data solution is something that came up constantly in both consulting and banking.
