Medtronic Bakken Research Center (BRC) is a research institute which is involved in scientific research for various implantable medical devices. Because of this a wide variety of software disciplines are present within this department. During my assignment I have worked on a large number of projects.

These are some of the tasks that I performed while working on various projects:

Android application development. Embedded software development on ARM processor family. Data analysis (using Python and Java). Writing software for medical device class software. Writing and reviewing documentation for medical device class software. CE marking for Medical software application. Assisting clinical studies with extracting and analyzing data from sensor platforms. Choosing hardware platform and developing software for surgical imaging prototype. Designing, implementing and maintaining a diabetes patient research platform servicing dozens of diabetes clinics all across the world.

Motto Communications offers a large amount of products and services through their Flux platform. Flux is a cloud distribution platform with which customers of Motto can order and fully configure various products such as VOIP, Internet subscriptions, mobile phone subscriptions, Virtual Private Servers etc.

The Factory Automation Factory Integration department of ASML makes sure that customers have access to vital information from their ASML machines and can use this to further automate their factory processes.
