Erfan Jazeb Nikoo

I started writing code at 13, built my first competitive robot at 14, and won my first international medal at 16. Twenty years later, I still write production code every day.

My background cuts across more layers of the stack than most engineers touch in a career. I have built mobile and web applications, progressive web apps, embedded firmware, cloud infrastructure, machine learning pipelines, and developer APIs. Before founding my own company, I held senior engineering roles across Amsterdam, New York, Kyiv, and Tehran, delivering products that are still in the market.

In 2024, I founded NIKX Technologies in Amsterdam, where I serve as CEO and technical lead. We are a WBSO-backed software company building AI-powered SaaS products. I designed and shipped the full architecture across all our products, from the user interfaces down to the infrastructure.

Earlier in my career, I spent six years at MRL, one of the leading robotics research labs in Iran. My work spanned autonomous multi-agent disaster response systems, AI and strategy development for omnidirectional mid-sized soccer robots, and leading the design and engineering of hexacopter, quadcopter, and VTOL drone platforms. I competed internationally in RoboCup across multiple leagues, winning medals in Istanbul, Eindhoven, Hefei, Leipzig, and Tehran. I also spent several years teaching electronics, programming, and AI to high school and university students.

I bring the perspective of someone who has worked at every level: as an individual contributor, a senior engineer, a team lead, and a founder. I know what it takes to ship, and I know what it takes to build the team that ships.
