Senior embedded software engineer with a passion for technology.

I had the chance to work on a wide range of solutions: IoT devices, medical implants, a payment terminal, networking solutions, livestock monitoring solutions, industrial computer vision solutions, etc.

I have strong programming skills, with a bias towards development in C, assembly (ARM, x86, x64), C++ or python and some experience in a variety of scripting languages (javascript, perl, lua).

I have a deep understanding of the most common microarchitectures, and worked with a wide range of cores (ARM Cortex A9, Cortex M4f, CortexM0+, MSP430 and more).

I have worked on platforms ranging from custom embedded linux ports (yocto, openwrt), RTOS environments (Zephyr, Mbed OS, embos and more) to baremetal solutions. In one project had the chance to design a secure RTOS kernel from scratch.

My area of expertise has always been embedded software engineering; but I also picked up quite some electronics engineering skills over time. I have reasonable numerical computing and optimization skills and some experience in the domain of signal processing. Basic, but limited, experience with FPGA programming.

In the future I hope to shift my focus towards embedded security and cybersecurity problems in general.

Until summer 2023 I will be balancing my time between freelance work and education (Master in CyberSecurity) and therefore can only accept part time commitments (max 50%).
