Born and raised in Amsterdam. Started working in advertising in 1994 as a desktop publisher/designer. Continued my career as a graphic designer and studio planner.

In 2015 I started freelancing as a visual/graphic and UI designer. Amongst other clients I work on various projects for Philips. One of the ongoing projects is the renewal of their dotcom website (both mobile and desktop) and the set up and maintenance of their design language system, which includes their component, icon and token library.
