Jorick Van Hees

As a multidisciplinary consultant I've worked on various projects in different roles. I've worked extensively with Google Cloud Platform products as data engineer and backend developer, and worked for various customers as a frontend developer. In the past years, I've shifted part of my focus to project management with responsibility for budget, team composition, customer expectation management and delivery. Alongside these assignments, I had various other activities like field management (coaching and managing assignments of colleagues), organising financials of my subdivision, talking with potential customers in pre-sales conversations, creating estimations and drafting quotes.

As a frontend developer at Blue Billywig I contributed to various parts of the Video Management System. We worked with a team of about 8 developers on a SaaS solution that consisted of multiple front and back-end applications. My job both included UI and UX work, along with the implementation in our native JavaScript and Angular applications. During the course of 5 years I've worked in an agile fashion on improving the same software, by building new features, upgrading the technology, maintaining legacy code and migrating to newer frameworks. Experience with: Design, UI, UX, HTML, SCSS, SASS, JavaScript, JQuery, WebPack, AngularJS, Angular 2 t/m 8, PHP, MySQL, Python, Agile, Scrum, Microsoft Teams
