I love to help companies grow by implementing changes, drive transitions, merge organizations or by implementing new developments. I like to do this in international B2B, where I can add value based on my deep knowledge of various sides of the business – both the traditional side of Business with hands-on and practical knowledge as well as the modern digital side of Business with knowledge of what it takes to implement changes successfully and make it work for the company in terms of profitable growth.
The most important development that’s taking place is the one of Digital Transformation. This involves that the responsibility of Marketing is shifting more and more towards Sales; and that’s exactly where my knowledge and experience is focused on – at the edge of Marketing and Sales, approached from the side of Marketing, but with a solid knowledge of Sales.
My value for larger organizations is that I know that, mostly very complex environment, really well so I would be effective immediately. My value for smaller organizations is that I can bring in the professional knowledge and experience that I gained in the larger organizations that I worked for. This can be in any of the manufacturing sectors I have experience – machine building, food & beverage, electrical, transport & logistics, graphics or in equipment rental & leasing.
The way I work is to assess the environment and accumulate available knowledge and develop a view of the organizational capabilities, shortfalls and challenges. Based on this a solution gets defined after which implementation can start. I like to work on complex challenges under challenging circumstances.
My leadership style is goal oriented and situational with a preference for empowering teams but with the ability to quickly switch to a directive style where achieving the objective requires this.
