Hajrah Mushtaq

I am a user experience designer based in the Netherlands. My aim is to create user centric designs, making lives of people around me easier.
Driving my career to this point, took me from some diversions, as I kept on exploring. Starting with the bachelors in Computer Science, during which I discovered my interest in application design more than development, so I pursued my masters in multimedia arts (specialized in interaction design). I have always been keen about understanding human psychology, analyzing and solving problems, which led me to explore UX design more and I did a certification from Ironhack specializing in UX/UI design. This background helps me understand the research, design and development ends of the product better.
Recently I had an exciting experience working remotely with the team of 'Health Curious' based in US, on a cross platform responsive app for weight loss surgery patients and clinics. I experienced the drill of doing UX research to learn the needs of our user and the gap in the market, and then coming up with a user centered strategy while keeping the client satisfied. Creating user stories, user flows and site maps. From paper sketches to interactive prototypes that we designed in Figma and validated with our users using Maze, from bringing innovation to following design system guidelines, coordinating with a diverse team of designers in different time zones, software developers and stakeholders sitting in different corners of the world.
I am interested in creating delightful experiences with a bunch of interesting team members.
